Not all naturally occurring phenomenon can or should be interpreted as having supernatural meaning. In this case my best guess is that you have a hawk possibly a peregrine, or some other predator (like a cat or dog) living and feeding in your neighbourhood. Cats particularly like to move their prey to an elevated (doorstep) area to feed. The fact it happened on the last two Fridays is most likely coincidental. The predator will have been feeding in your area fairly often, you just may not be at the right time or the right place to observe the aftermath.
It's a comfort zone for a bovine that mediates how close a person or predator can get before that bovine feels she/he has to move away from that person or predator.
To fire it press the shoot button and move it with the move controls (not aim)

Chameleons are usually very curious. They move around all the time and when they see a predator they blend in to things to the predator can not find them.
