Too much timing?
dead battery or starter
Need to check the battery conections and the starter wires and starter.
Check the starter and the solenoid. Make sure that the cables from the battery to the starter are tight and are sending voltage.
In the car electrical system, the starter motor is the first stop after the battery, so the problem has to be with that.
check ecm fuse
Weak battery?Bad starter?Timing set too far advanced?
Seized engine? Weak battery? Corroded or loose battery cables? Bad starter or starter solenoid? Bad neutral or clutch safety switch? Bad ignition switch?
Are the battery leads making a tight contact? - checkIs the starter motor stuck? - give it a gentle tap with a hammer.
bad starter, or bad relay, bad ground or power wire to starter solenoid, bad ignition switch, blown fuse, etc
new battery installed . push starter and all I get Is a humming sound . wont turnover though
have someone check your starter out i had the same trouble and it was my starter
Battery down, starter motor, engine seizure. If you roll it in gear down a hill and let the clutch out does the engine turn over = not seized. Does it start = battery has charge but not sufficient to turn starter. Either battery shot (try restarting after a run) or starter needs overhaul/replacement. My First thought is starter motor brushes or starter relay. Actually, if your battery is not the problem you could simply need to replace the starter relay.
