chances are you have to get it burned off, its not swollen if its hard its just how the bump is.I would say, go see a doctor and have him take alook at it, but a friend of mine who had an industrial,(double piercing in cartlidge) had the same problem with it and wound up with four bumps. resulting in having to burn them all off. 0_o hope this helped,

Q: 6 months after I got my ear cartlidge peircedit swelled and white gunge come out of it so I removed earring it still swollen and hard 12 months on can I do anything to heal it and get rid of the bump?
