87-95 was the first generation wrangler, the YJ. The roll cage should be the same as no major changes to the body were made until the TJ (97-03).
Yes, the entire roll cage in all Jeep Wranglers can simply be unbolted for removal. On model years 1997-2006 (TJ's) you have to take 4 bolts out of the top of the windshield frame that connects to the roll cage.

yes the will fit... unless you have modified the roll cage to cover the front passenger compartment, the plastic molding gets in the way of the aftermarket/ custom rollcage.... minor adjustments may be nessasary to fit properly.
You have to unbolt the winshield from the roll cage, then fold down the windshield. Most models are similar but some do varry. Owners manual is detailed.
