the fuel pump on your car is fine when cold an engine demands more fuel than when warm. there are a few things that can be causing your situation.check for vacuum leaks especially the vacuum lines these give alot of trouble as they become brittle with age. the throttle body could be dirty and needs to be cleaned on the inside. the intake valves get a build up of carbon on them and an additive can be put in the tank to take care of this. the timing can be off a little this is caused by wear in the drive gears timing is critical on a turbo.a sluggish oxygen sensor can cause this too
it sound like you have A BAD MAP SENCER
If you remove the air filter box, you will have plenty of room to access the plugs. If you remove the air filter box, you will have plenty of room to access the plugs.
dirty injectors
did you change the wires also. if not you probablly have a loose wire for one of the plugs. does it run any different
No, a bad EGR valve would cause pinging at driving speeds or stalling at idle. Have you checked the distributor cap? Fuel filter?
Have you tried a new distributor cap & rotor ?? ,as, they may be corroded/pitted.
Fuel injector?, wire? manifold leak?
Dirty fuel filter? Bad plugs and wires, etc., etc., etc. Take it to autozone for a free diagnostic check.
yes and no did not changed fuel filter
When was the last tune up. Plugs, and wires, fuel filter, air filter. All of these or either one will cause this. Start with the plugs, try it, if still the same, then the wires, if still the same, then fuel filter and so on to the air filter. Good luck. If all fails, and the check engine lite is on, or if it is on now, get a read out first. Might give you some ideas.
Auto Zone will check your check engine light / computer codes for FREE... No more guessing. It could be a bad coil pack.
your car is out of gas
