Sounds like you may very well have a timing issue and or an internal valve issue.
Best to spend a few bucks and take it to your local GM dealer and have it put on a scanner. It could also be anything from a O2 sensor to a MAP sensor. But just replacing parts until you get it right, is just a guessing game at best, and could get really expensive.
