I have a 2001 Lexus IS300. When I tried to turn it over today it tried to go but then started clicking. I tried it again and it just clicked. The electronics are working. What is the problem?

Try unhooking your battery for an hour or so and then try it, again. While the battery is unhooked, turn the headlight switch on and then off, and let us know whether or not it works. The headlights will take the charge from the computer and when you reconect the battery, it will reset itself.

I would suspect a loose or corroded battery cable. Remove the negative - cable first and clean both cable connection and the battery posts. Hook the positive + cable back up first. Can also be a starter solenoid going bad.
