It sounds like a bad valve could be the problem. If it misfires out the exhaust, exhaust valve,If it misfires out the intake ,intake valve. When it warms up the metal expands and closes up the opening some in the bad spot and it will run better. You can try disconnecting the plug wires one at a time while running (Use an insulated tool or you will get shocked) to try and isolate the cylender that is bad. It will be the one that the engine sound does not change when you disconnect the wire. Then take out the plug and then do a compression check on that cylinder ,should read about 110-125 PSI. if its much less its a burnt valve. Or take it to a garage and have them put it on a machine that will tell you which cylender is giving you trouble.
It will if you do modifications to it i have 1995 Cadillac deville on 22"defy kasino rims and i had to unhook air lift shocks add spring spacers to all 4 shocks and fold in the front strut plates just to make it work i really don't recommend it at all i regret doing it.get 20"they fit a whole lot better
Personal choice I like the Lincoln for the feeling of luxury I like the Cadillac for the dependability My opinion, for late models: New moden/high-tech, luxury, fashion, faster ->Deville Rear wheel drive->Town Car More budget/will change car soon -> Deville Drive your friends to Airport and earn extra ->Town Car Don't wannt look old ->Deville Good Value buy->Town Car I Owned 94 Deville and 96 Towncar
CADILLAC STS is totally better
The answer is no, it is not a better car than any Cadillac.
a cadillac escalade is better hands down
On my 91 sedan deville it is at the bottom of the firewall on the passenger side. About where the passengers feet would be. Take the R. F. Tire to be able to see better and crawl under and just behind the disc rotor. BE Careful the line into and out of the filter are plastic and MAY be BRITTLE (More than likely)
They say to run premium but mine runs just fine on 87. I did get about 2 miles per gallon better mileage on premium but that's not enough to warrant the difference in cost.
Between the two, I'd be partial to Cadillac, personally.
I own the 1989Cadillac 4dr Sedan Deville with Bose premium sound. Each speaker has its own individual amp that is attached to the speaker. The amps in my car went bad causing only one of my speakers to work. If you are having issues with the amp from my experience it is better to run new speakers, stereo, and wires (but be warned it is no easy task to remove the old door speakers!).
Unfortunately the starter ois located in the valley between the cylinder banks you have to remove the intake to replace it.(very labor intensive procedure) intake gaskets are about$90 and the starter from Autozone is about $250. you better know what you are doing befor you tear into this engine....
Normally, the larger the car the softer the ride. Great riding cars are: Buick Lucerne or better any older model Park Avenue Lincoln Town Car or older Continental, Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Grand Marquis Cadillac DTS or any older Cadillac Sedan Deville Lexus GS or LS Toyota Avalon
Cadillac. It has better interior materials, rides better, has more insulation for a quieter ride, and is overall a more luxurious car. But all that comes at a cost. It costs more initially and deprecates more.
