In the 93 Mark...the flasher relay is located behind the glove box compartment. Hopefully the locations haven't changed throughout the years...
Multifunction switch is bad.
The turn signal and emergency light relay flashers are located behind the plastic lower dash panel, aprox under the radio. The lower panel must be removed to gain access.
Behind lower plastic dash panel above the transmission hump. You need to remove several screws to drop the lower panel and the flashers will be exposed.
On mine there were two small wires connected with the positive cable to the battery. Make sure those 2 wires are connected real good or your signals will not work. Good Luck...
The flashers on a 96 s10 are located underneath the lower dash next to the cigarette lighters.
The signal and emergency flashers are located behind the plastic lower dash panel. Remove the few screws holding the panel and drop the panel down. You will see the flashers aprox above the transmission hump area.
You probably need a new turn signal switch. I have a '96 Monte Carlo and I had to replace the turn signal switch to get the brake lights to work. Thankfully I had a brother who knew how to take off the steering column and replace. Hopes this helps!!!
I would suspect the Flasher Relay is defective. Replace it with a new one.I would suspect the Flasher Relay is defective. Replace it with a new one.
Flash in the can ...I'm not sure, but I think that those are separate flashers. I think I remember seeing here, that the turn signal flasher is the one on the right, but don't quote me. You might want to look around this site for a similar question that someone else has answered. If you find that there are two flashers, and that they are different models and have different part numbers, you can copy down both numbers and ask your local parts store guy which one is which. If they are both identical, buy one and swap it with one or the other of the flashers in the car. If the problem is not solved, try swapping it with the other one. If it still doesn't work, your problem probably lies elswhere.FriPilotI just changed the one in my daughters car it has 2 different flashers the one in the convience center is for the 4 way flashers the turn signal one is under the dash by the steering column (you will have to look for it isn't easy to find) 95 only!!! 96 & newer they were incorporated into 1 flasher
Way up under the dash, hard to get to but doable with a little effort. They are on each side of the steering column attached to a bracket. They are round, short cylinder shaped with 2 wires attached to each one, The one on the left controls the turn signals. One on right controls emergency flashers.
In the fuse pannel. You will have two of them in there and one is for your emergancy flashers the other is for your turn signals.
