There are several posibilities. First, have the fuel pressure and volume checked. Any decent repair shop can do this in 10 min. This could reveal a weak or low volume fuel pump ( a common problem on these cars). Also, Have them look for a possibly clogged catalytic converter. Both of these conditions could exist or it could be just one. Either one can cause consistent loss of power. Regardless of the cause, discuss a possible tune up with your mechanic. Regular maintenance and yearly inspections could prevent either of these conditions.
