OK, you know the fans are good because the work when the A/C is on. So the problem is elsewhere. As you know, there is a temperature sensor that signals the fans to come on when the cooling system gets warm. You replace it, but is the wiring OK. Check all connections. The fan control module/relay may be faulty, have you checked it? THE PROBLEM WAS I NEEDED A DEALER COOLANT TEMP SENSORS
Check the temperature at the radiator when hot Cooling fan is designed to come on only when:A/C Compressor is on (either during cooling or defrosting) orwhen coolant temperature exceeds 235 degrees Fahrenheit
Near the bottom of the coolant reservoir ( overflow tank)
Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit Range/Performance issue... This DTC is usually cause by a faulty coolant senor, but can also mean that your engine's thermostat is malfunctioning.
REPLACE THERMO STAT/CHECK TO REPLACE THERMO CENSOR!
Yes. Especially if your car has electronic cooling fans. The coolant sensor signals the computer to turn the fans on when the engine is getting warm. The computer also retards the engine ignition timing and increases/decreases the air fuel mixture to preserve the engine. And if the coolant senor is not working, then the computer cannot tell you when to stop the car before the engine blows.
it's the coolant tempture senor and it's right on top of the motor by your thermsate
The Lord = El Senor Our Lord = Nuestro senor lord as a title is just senor or sometimes lord
Daniel Senor's birth name is Daniel Samuel Senor.
You should find it in the drivers side cylinder head between spark plugs #3 and #5.
I have 1993 Volvo 960 and the coolant senor is located on the back of the block ( next to fire wall) The access is very difficult because the are two water hoses and some electrical wires right next to it.
Senor in Spanish means sir.
on the 05 (and presumably other 3.8s of the same body style) it's just under the thermostat housing (where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine).
