It is stored in the bond of the last phosphate. When it breaks off, energy is released. The production of ATP is basically the addition of that phosphate to ADP. ADP is adenosine diphosphate. (probably spelled that wrong). ATP is adenosine triphosphate. So basically the ATP is an ADP w/o the last phosphate.

The three phosphate groups are negatively charged due to the four oxygen's bonded to the phosphorous. This makes them very unstable and it is energetically favorable that the groups at least phosphorylate another molecule with one of those phosphate groups.
In the bonds of the phosphate groups.
PO4
This molecule is unstable when three of them bond together in ATP. The oxygen's are charged, at least two per molecule and they tend to repel each other, so this is a highly energetic state that can be used for cellular work.
the energy in a ATP is stored in a bond between the phosphrate group :)
well you guys own this site and i really think you guys should have the answer to it so please answer the question.
There are three phosphate molecules.Energy is stored between bonds of phoshate groups.
Potential energy is stored in the nucleus or in the chemical bonds
In the chemical bonds that like their bonds.
The nucleusAdenosine Triphosphate, often abbreviated ATP, is the molecule, created by cell respiration in the mitochondria of animal cells and photosynthesis in the chloroplasts of plants, in which energy is stored.
O=c=o has the greatest amount of energy stored in its bonds.

energy cant be stored in a broken molecule instead energy realeses when you break a molecule
An ATP molecule is made of ribose, adenosine, and phosphate. The energy is stored within the bonds of the phosphate molecules.
The energy in a sucrose molecule is stored in the interatomic bonds such as the carbon-oxygen bonds and the oxygen-hydrogen bonds.
Chemical energy is stored in form of bonds
Energy stored in molecular bonds
in its bonds
by putting energy into a molecule ------------------------------------------------------------- Energy is mainly of two form. One is matter and the other is radiation. Due to radiation such a photon energy would be given to a molecule. That energy will be stored within the molecule in the form of electromagnetic fields and mechanical too. Sometimes fast moving material particles with their mechanical energy would energize a molecule. That too will be stored in the form of electric or magnetic or mechanical form.
In vibration and spin.
One molecule of glucose stores 90 times the amount of chemical energy than one molecule of ATP.
