Things like apples, potatoes, onions, carrots, barley, wheat, sprouts, rhubarb, strawberries, gooseberries, cabbage, turnips, cauliflower and many, many other things.
The food was very boring in this time. Poor people mainly ate every thing made of barley. It was barley for every meal, so to add a mushroom to it made it different. Apples were very popular and so was cabbage, turnips, carrots, breads were also eaten. The rich had bread made from wheat and the poor barley.
