The gas will explode in presence of oxygen! (and your match blown out, and hopefully you're not!)

D.T.T.A.H.Only if brought in contact with H2 gas WITHOUT ANY O2 it would distiguish through absence of oxygen, but in practice this is IMPOSSIBLE to do (oxygen being present all the time as long as your match is burning, how else would it burn? see?)

Why does a match stick light when rubbed on a rough surface?

The heat then ignites the chemicals on the match head, specifically the phosphorus and sulfur, which undergo a chemical reaction with the oxygen in the air. This reaction produces a flame, causing the match stick to light.

How will you confirm that of acid on metal to produce hydrogen gas?

The question is not clear but if you are asking how to check whether hydrogen is released due to the reaction of metals with acid, then take the test tube within which the reaction just occurred and lower in a lit match stick into the oblique test tube.and if you hear a pop sound, then it is hydrogen. Don't worry it is not dangerous unless you want it to be ;)
