Peanut butter can work, but it is important to raise the glucose level just enough without spiking levels, and to do so quickly. Glucose lozenges or glucose paste are typically the best solution. Lacking these, you can use soft candies: caramels (1-2), candy corn (3-4), or some other soft candy. Juice is very good solution, no more than 8 ounces, retest within 10-15 minutes and another sip if levels do not rise. Sugared soft drinks can work, but you should try to limit this to 6-8 ounces.
Different people respond to different solutions. Find what works for the person best, and keep this on hand.
If mother had gestational diabetes when she was pregnant, then chances of having diabetes for a child is low. But gestational mother have more chances to have diabetes type 2. If this happens then the child diabetes risk is increased. If father have type 1 diabetes, then the child has some very low risk of having type 1 diabetes (autoimmune disorder). If father had type 2 diabetes then diabetes risk for the child is higher as compared to the mother with type 2 diabetes.
My child is 8 years old, he has type 1 diabetes for three years. We tried the wheal grass for a month, and his results are much better. The only problem is, that now he is ofthen low, so we have to be very careful to not go into hypoglycemia. I am sure that whealgrass has a very good effect on him, even that he has type 1 (insulin dependent) diabetes it helps! (R. from Hungary)

Yes we do
Yes. If you have type 2 diabetes, your child is more likely to have it than a child of a person with type 1.
When the child develops to be dependent and immature most likely is a result of permissive parenting.
No.
Possible because both type-I and type-II diabetes run in families as there is a genetic component. If your husband has type-I diabetes then there's a chance it will be inherited. If your husband has type-II diabetes, your child may inherit a tendency to get diabetes if diet and exercise are poor.
