A Colloid is a type of mechanical mixture in which extremely small particles of on or more substances are evenly and stably distributed in one or more others.
A Suspension is a mechanical mixture consisting of a liquid or gas with small particles that are distributed through it, but that separate out if the suspension is left undisturbed

a solution is a well-mixed mixture containing a solvent and at least one solute that has the same properties throughout. a colloid is a mixture containing small, undissolved particles that do not settle out.
Depending on the particles dimension: - between 1 and 1000 nm is a colloid - above 1000 nm is a suspension - the solution hasn't visible particles
Well they are the same thing because a solution is a type of mixture. If there had to be a difference a colloid solution is when particles are mixed as a colloid in water but a colloid mixture could be anything: a gas colloid, a liquid colloid or a solid colloid. Or any of those three mixed together! It is complicated but basically the difference is that one is particles spread thought mixture and one isn't. Hope it helps :)
A solution has the smallest particles, of the mixtures that you list.

a colloid has smaller particles than a solution
It is actually called colloid.
A homogeneous solution contain ions or molecules.A colloid contain insoluble particles in the range 1-1000 nm.
A colloid is a solution where the particles inside it are between 1 and 1000 nanometers in diameter. The particles inside the solution are evenly dispersed throughout the solution and do not precipitate out.
Depending on the particles dimension: - between 1 and 1000 nm is a colloid - above 1000 nm is a suspension - the solution hasn't visible particles
A colloid. The particles do not settle out, but stay suspended.
No, a solution has much smaller particles than a colloid. In a solution the particles are individual atoms, molecules, or ions.

A colloid is a mixture where the size of the particles is less than the particles of suspension. These particles are uniformly spread out throught the solution. Due to relatively smaller size of particlesas compared to solution this appears to be homogenious.but a colloid solution is ahetrerogeneous mixture. The componenys of a colloid are in a dispersed phase in a medium.eg. milk
