In the Applications folder is a folder called Utilities. In the Utilities folder is Disk Utility. Disk Utility will Erase / Partition / Format a hard drive.
The hard disk is the device that stores the folders.
A disk space analyzer is a software utility for the visualization of disk space usage by getting the size for each folder (including sub-folders) and files in a folder or drive.
To separate a folder within a folder, you can simply drag and drop the inner folder to your desired location outside the parent folder. Alternatively, you can right-click on the inner folder, select "Cut," navigate to the desired location, then right-click and select "Paste." This will move the folder to the new location, effectively separating it from its original parent folder.
With the disk in, go to my computer, right click on the CD ROM drive and pick explore. This will open the disk as a folder, highlight everything in the folder and copy it, then paste it in a folder you have made or anyone you want. Usually when you put a disk into the drive a window pops up and has several options such as view files, you can also just view them and copy the folder.
