The rock was broke into pieces using explosives
A slot raise is used in mining for shaft sinking and/or raising (drilling tunnels upwards at 45 to 90 degrees off horizontal). When rock is blasted it expands to about 300% of it's original volume so when drilling a tunnel you need a void to give the blasted rock somewhere to expand into. Rather than drill a large diameter tunnel upwards in one go (running the risk of the expanded rock compacting in place and "freezing" the tunnel) it is common to blast out a small diameter tunnel first - a "slot raise" - and then come back and drill and blast the larger diameter tunnel using the slot raise as a void to allow the blasted rock to expand.
A scree slope is caused by weather erosion breaking off pieces of rock from the cliff and mountain-side.

Mass wasting, also known as mass movement, is the type of erosion that involves the larger portion of loose rock or soil breaking off a mountain due to gravity. This can result in processes like landslides, rockfalls, or slumps.
No, the flag on the moon did not fall when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin blasted off because there is no atmosphere on the moon to cause the flag to float or fall. However, the motion from the rocket blast-off did cause the flag to ripple.
You could remove them from the vehicle, dismount the tires and have the rims sand blasted.
