Strictly speaking, no computer 'controls' a network.
You will have different devices that do different jobs on a network.
Some examples :
You might have a DOMAIN CONTROLLER on a Microsoft network that authenticates users of the network (allows users to login and use the network resources).
You might have ROUTERS that 'control' what data gets in and out of a network based upon its configuration and which network data might get forwarded to as necessary.
You might have SWITCHES that 'control' what data gets sent to which computer based upon an IP address' host bits.
You might have a GATEWAY that 'controls' what data passes in and out of a company's internal network onto an external network (such as the internet)
If you want a simple answer then it's probably that a SERVER 'controls' a client-server network.
Depending on the way your network is set up, the 'central' computer could be a server or a host computer.
There is no single "main computer" that connects all computers on the internet, however what you are referring to is a called a server.
Typically a Server, Mainframe, or Central Node, depending on the topology and use in question.
The computer/ computers in charge is called servers.
They're called hosts on a network diagram.
Peer to Peer Network ... as i think ...

Two distinct types of computers are laptops and desktops. There are many other types of computers under these two main categories.pc dektops laptops plamstop workstation sever main computer mini fram super wearable
mini computer/main frame computers
Micro computer. Main-frame computer. Super computer.
Yes, they can.
You can get all the info on the TS on this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/186498 Server Computer is the head of all the network computers that called as a client computer. Server computer main duty is the main storage of all the data of the client computers. Also, Server computer has the Main system that the client computers will be using.
Install the printer on one of the computers. Then do the printer install wizard on the other computers, and choose a network printer, and browse to the computer with the printer installed and select that printer, and have the main computer automatically install drivers on the other computers. Configure outlook express however you want. Google it for detailed instructions.
A laptop would be more suitable because it can handle a bigger load than a minicomputer can. Remember networks are computers that work together, and the main computer will organize the computers and process the information from the computers. Everything will go through the main computer. In other words, you will be better off with a laptop rather then a minicomputer.
There are more than 2 types of computers, but we can say that the major types of computers are personel computers, which includes the desktop, laptop, pocket PC etc:and super computers. The other types are main frame computers, mini computers, nettops & SO ON.......... I think I know what you mean: the two Main types are PC (use Windows as the OS) and Mac (use OS producted by Apple.Inc) PC & Mac
Hardware, Software and data are the main components of a computer. Everything else in a computer is for the most part nonessential.
Computers are very versatile. For example in agriculture... you can have a remote tester for grain humidity or any other tester that can send the information by air to a main computer and provide you statistics, procedures and so on....
windows server is a bunch of computers connected to one computer. they basically use the main computers mainframe
