endoplasmic reticulum
A maze of passage ways called the endoplasmic reticulum carries proteins and other material from one part of the cell to another.
A maze of passageways called the _______________ carries proteins from one part of the cell to another. The answer is the endoplasmic reticulum. ;)
I have this question on a school worksheet and I thought it was nice to let people know the answer. Its encloplasmic reticulum.
It is the endoplasmic reticulum or E.R. as Ms. Lafin calls it.
What is it called? The endoplasmic reticulum or ER is like the "highway" that carries things from one part of a cell to another.
it is Endoplasmic Reticulum(ER).
Endoplasmic Reticulum
Endoplasmic Reticulum
Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER)
Has passageways that carry protenis and other materials from one part of the cell to another
There are two types of ERs--smooth and rough. The smooth ER has a lot of functions, but the major one is the production of lipids. The rough ER's major function is the synthesis of proteins from ribosomes that are studded around it :)

it is called a endoplasmic reticulum
Rough ER is a cell organelle attached to the nuclear envelope of the nucleus. Its' job is to create and refine polypeptides into proteins with the help of the attached ribosomes, giving it the 'rough' look, and distinguishing it from the smooth ER, which makes lipids although is not attached to the nucleus, nor does it have ribosomes present.

Transport proteins are important because they carry proteins which move molecules from one place to another around the body.
