please answer GSM is global system for mobile. Its wireless communication system.
GSM is a network - more exactly, it's a - <quote: Babbel> digital cellular communication system used in many countries (based on a variation of TDMA technology) </quote> A PDA phone is a phone which is also a PDA, or a PDA with a phone function. it's on the hardware aspect. So, I guess they're irrelevant.
Most likely it will not.In the USA most providers use the CDMA,TDMA and AMPS cellular telephone protocols. Most foreign countries use the GSM protocol, but if you use Cingular or T-Mobile it also works on the GSM protocol. However you should make sure before you rely on that information
gsm
GSM stands for "Global System for Mobile communications", which was a replacement for the former AMPS and TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) formats of analog cellular telephone transmissions. GSM is currently used by over 3 billion people across more than 212 countries and territories, over 82% of the world's population. GSM's advantage over its predecessor is that it is 100% digital, as opposed to TDMA, which was analog. While covering a shorter distance than the analog signal, a GSM signal can carry more voice and data communications than the analog band, and carry it at a faster rate, thus making GSM a "second-generation" (2G) cellular technology. Most GSM networks operate in the 900 MHz or 1800 MHz bands. Some countries in the Americas (including Canada and the United States) use the 850 MHz and 1900 MHz bands because the 900 and 1800 MHz frequency bands were already allocated.
GPS, or global positioning satellite, is used to pinpoint your location or aid you in deriving directions to a location. GSM relates to a cell phone protocol used by cell phone providers.
AMPS
link acess protocol for the D channel is used in the radio link between bts and ms
This is a GPS that is used from a communication device, such as a cell phone. GSM stands for Global System for Mobile Communications, so GPS GSM is GPS in combination with one of these devices.
