Corona. It is also a Mexican beer.
The outer atmosphere of a star is comprised of several layers, including the chromosphere and the corona. These regions are responsible for emitting light and other forms of radiation. The outer atmosphere plays a key role in a star's overall temperature, appearance, and energy output.
white dwarf or a red giant
The outermost atmosphere of a star is called Stellar atmosphere. Within the Stellar atmosphere, the corona is the outermost part. The corona mostly consist of plasma which has a temperature above a million Kelvin.
There are no stars in the atmosphere. Stars are found in outer space. The pistol star is the brightest known star. The largest is vy Canis Majoris.
There is no opposite, A shooting star is a speck of dust from outer space burning up in the atmosphere from frictional heating.
Bits of rock from outer space entering our atmosphere.
The core would emit light because it is hot. The outer atmosphere would absorb light because it is not completely transparent. It would also re-emit radiation itself, because of its heat.
The photosphere is the outer part of the star that is visible, inside which the star becomes opaque to visible light. The photosphere is the layer below the star's atmosphere (the chromosphere, and so forth).
The dark lines in a star's spectrum are caused by absorption of specific wavelengths of light by the elements in the star's outer atmosphere. This absorption occurs when the elements in the atmosphere absorb photons of specific energies, leading to the creation of dark absorption lines in the spectrum.
atmosphere
It means the Earth's atmosphere is affecting what you are seeing.
If plasma based life is possible, I'm inclined to think that the surface/interior of a star is too turbulent and violent for it to evolve. Perhaps in the outer atmosphere of a star or in deep space.
