Is the margin or configuration abnormal in shape? Is it larger on one side than the other? GO TO THE DOCTOR. Is it smooth or rough? Run your finger over its surface; is it abnormally rough, crusted or scaly? GO TO THE DOCTOR. Is the skin abnormally thick? Does the skin feel thicken, leathery? GO TO THE DOCTOR. Does it feel as if it is filled with fluid? This may or may not need to be reviewed by a doctor, take all of the other symptoms, the shape, the color and the size into account. If it is larger than 2/5 of an inch, just smaller that ½ inch, GO TO THE DOCTOR. Is the skin hardened? Does the skin feel extra tuff? GO TO THE DOCTOR. Is it painful or ulcerated? GO TO THE DOCTOR. Dose it itch? GO TO THE DOCTOR.
