There are a great number of web sites that discuss the solar system. One of my favorites is "The Nine Planets" at http://nineplanets.org.
It doesn't 'DO' much. It is a region between Mars and Jupiter where asteroids orbit The Sun.
Most planets in our solar system orbit the Sun in the same direction, counterclockwise when viewed from above the Earth's North Pole. However, Venus and Uranus are exceptions as they have retrograde or backward orbits.
The question tells you that earth and Jupiter have something in common and is asking you to find the choice that shares that characteristic. The characteristic that earth and Jupiter have in common is that they are both planets. Find the multiple choice answer that references a planet.
The solar system contains only ONE star - Our Sun.---I think you may be thinking of Galaxies - our own being the Milky Way, which contain anything from 10 million to a trillion stars. The Solar System is (as the name tells you) the system of objects around the star Sol which is the name of our Sun. The Solar system includes the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and the dwarf planets Pluto, Makemake,Ceres, Eris and Hawmea (with loads more to follow probably). There are also a couple of asteroid belts between planets and the solar system ends with the Kuiper Belt which has a whole load of probable dwarf planets, rocks, ice etc in a donut shape about 30-55AU from the Sun.Further out there is a cloud of comets and rocks called the Oort cloud which is about a quarter of the way to the nearest star (1ly) which is the last thing that could be considered part of the Solar System.1 ly is a Light year, the distance light can travel in a year - about 9,000,000,000,000 km1 AU is the distance from the Earth to the Sun (about 8 light minutes)Feeling small yet? The universe is a big place!
It helps us to know about the solar system's early history. That's because we think comets are leftovers from the formation of the planets, etc. They are very old, primitive bodies, like the asteroids.
The photo of our solar system shows a central star, the Sun, surrounded by eight planets, moons, asteroids, and comets. This structure reveals that the solar system is made up of various celestial bodies orbiting around the Sun. The composition of these bodies varies, with the inner planets being rocky and the outer planets being gas giants. The presence of smaller bodies like asteroids and comets also indicates the diversity of materials in the solar system.
It depends on whether you believe that the solar system formed itself or an incredibly intelligent and powerful being designed and orchestrated it. Myself, I see incredible design in our solar system which tells MY brain that there must be a designer! This then tells me that the other planets are there for a reason since intelligence only does intelligent things. This then brings me to the conclusion that earth is the principle reason for the solar system to exist and the other planets are there to balance out the suns gravity. Have you ever thought to yourself that the gas giants are gas giants because once a planet reaches a certain size, it can no longer be a rocky planet because of the tremendous gravity? All of the small planets are rocky ones and the larger ones are gas giants--this is no mistake! Have you noticed too that out of all the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, that none of them are just made of gas? Even the experts in the field of astronomy say that it doesn't make sense that these gas giants exist from current explanations of the origin of our solar system--they say that there wouldn't be enough material way out there! You will not find a good enough explanation on why the outer planets are so different to the inner ones from even the experts because they honestly don't know! My explanation is that they are different because they were made that way for a reason and I believe that they are huge because they need to be huge and at that distance from the sun so that they don't make it "wobble" too much like other stars scientists have found in our galaxy with gas giants orbiting closer to their stars than mercury is.
Sundials casts shadow that points to the time represented by marks of numbers. The sundial tells the solar time.

this website is impotant because it tells you answers
NO there is no website whatsovere that tells you that. not even Amazon, or eBay can do that. its such a tradegy. its horrible.
