Most vehicles have a belt routing diagram on a plaquer located in the engine compartment. Or even in the cars manual.
No, an accessory belt is not considered a serpentine belt. However, a serpentine belt is considered a specific type of accessory belt.

The alternator is driven by the drive belt. Find the belt and follow the routing and you will find the alternator.
The car should have an idler pulley towards the top if the engine. It does not run an accessory, but provides tension to the belt. The pulley pivots away to relieve tension using a ratchet or breaker bar. The belt should then slip right off. Look for a decal under hood that shows routing of the belt for installation. I hope this helps!
