According to the Bible does life begin at conception?

John The Baptist, for example, was said to have received the Holy Spirit while still unborn. Other areas of the bible point to the first breath as the beginning of life. This can be interpreted two ways - Either as the baby's first breath after birth or the metaphoric breath that would come from God 'breathing' into the child. there are clear references indicating that God is creating us in the womb, so we have identity and God's intention while in the mother's womb - that's life in the womb, before birth.
