- Make money. Click Jacking (overriding searches to send traffic to an affiliate site) or run adword scams (making it look like you clicked on an Ad)

∙ 16y agoA Trojan Virus is used to infiltrate a computer via acting as a good file or proper code (non-malicious) in the intent to latch onto a computer. Once in place and all files it was after are compromised or intercepted, it will send a bot out to secure it for transfer back to its source.

∙ 12y agoUnless you wrote the virus yourself, there are no advantages. Viruses are designed to benefit the people who wrote them, or to cause damage to your computer. If your computer has a virus, you should get rid of it as soon as possible.

∙ 14y agoWell naturally the disadvantage is viruses kill. The advantage is we can use a virus to stop a virus. For instance, when you go to the doctors for a flu shot the doctor is actually injecting you with a small dose of the flu virus. Not enough to make you sick, but just enough so your body can build up a defense so that when you do come in contact with the flu virus, your body can keep you healthy.

∙ 12y agoTheres no complete advantage to getting PC viruses ; so its highly recommended that you instal somekind of anti virus software for your computer to stop many things like computer viruses and hackers , if they do get into you computer theres a high chance of them being able to control everything on your PC and getting personal information, letting you have no control over it what so ever or could send a virus that can make your entire PC automatically shut down.
