Basically, two resistors in series from one supply to the other, giving an intermediate voltage at the junction. This voltage is then used to "bias" circuit elements, often op-amps, so that their quiescent voltage output is midway between one supply and the other.

Advantages and disadvantages of simple random sampling?

advantages: reduce bias easy of sampling disadvantages: sampling error time consuming

What is the advantages of emitter bias configurations over fixed bias configurations?

One of the main advantages of using the emitter bias configuration has to do with the Q-points. With changes in the current gain, those Q-points don't change. Since the collector current accounts for 99% of the emitter current, we come up with a 1% margin of error, much better than the 5% we can get with the fixed-base bias configuration and Ic and Vce do not fluctuate as well.

What is root word for bias?

The root word for bias is "bi-" which means two or twice.

What are advantages of voltage divider bias over the other types of biasing ci?

You can use more than one type of voltage divider in it. It can sometimes get mixed signals with all the things going on.

Is there any Advantages of simple random sampling?

Cheap, simple, easily applied to a small population ensures bias is not introduced

Why do diode has two resistance values in ieone in forward bias other in reverse bias?

because the current push to the junction.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of case control studies?

AdvantagesLess expensive than other analytic studiesLess time consumingGood for rare diseasesDisadvantages - BiasRecall bias - people who have had the disease and better able to determine their exposureInformation bias- the difference between the measurment of each groupSelection bias- the difference between how the groups wre selected.

What are the advantages of self bias on other bias?

1. stability factor s for voltage divider or self bias is less as compared to other biasing circuits . So this circuit is more stable and hence it is most commonly used. 2. this circuit is used where only moderate changes in ambient temperature are expected 3. the bias automatically adjusts to any variations in the circuit. by prerita agarwal
