Usually it depends on the girl. Sometimes they only dump you because they have won the game and got the bait (you) or they are scared you are going to break up with them so they break up with you to be in control. After a while they usually learn see what they have lost, unless they think that you cheated or if you were a jerk to her. But that's my opinion (ps Im a girl)
