President Obama is most known for his Community Organization once he received his B.A. from Columbia University. After he left Harvard he wrote a book called Dreams from My Father. After this he became a teacher at the University of Chicago Law School.
He's still president so... that question won't really be relevant until 2016. My guess is that he won't work and will live on ObamaCare. When he's in his 70's or 80's and needs a hip replacement, thanks to himself, he won't get one because he is no longer "benefiting society".
As of February 2014 Barack Obama is still president, so he has not yet done anything "after his presidency."
