No. You are on active duty, and required to go through whichever technical school your specialty requires, which means you are not eligible for deployment until fully qualified (there are exceptions to this where individuals awaiting class dates may deploy in non-specialty positions, such as convoy duty). Deployment into combat is based on your specialty, and requirements for the operations active at that time.
