your collarbone will heal in approximately 7 to 9 months. Be careful until it is fully healed as your scrotum may fall off.
When a wisdom tooth is extracted...or any tooth for that matter, a cavity is left in the bone in the space which was occupied by the tooth. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic commonly prescribed following surgical procedures including wisdom tooth removal. It aids in the healing process by preventing infection by bacterial at the surgical site. The cavity will be filled by bone as a natural healing process..it happens over a long period of time...months
If you loose a tooth that will not grow back it will just heal up over time like if you were to remove wisdom teeth, but it never hurts to ask your dentest
i had my number 15 tooth extracted exactly a week ago today, and i still continue to have pain. i can also feel with my tounge, little sharp pieces/shards in the extaction area. i think the are pieces of my tooth still in the gum from when the dentist was gutting the tooth in half. i have even pulled a little pices of the shards out and i think that the shards are making the extraction area not heal well... i cant drink anything cold or i will drop to my knees in severe pain. i am not sure what to do either...
No, drinking alcohol before the mouth is healed can lead to a dry socket. It usually takes 3-4 days for a mouth to heal after wisdom tooth extraction.
That is the nature of that particular type of surgery. It will heal.

It's OK so long as you haven't eaten. If you're eating, take care that you rinse and remove any remnants of food because if these get into the wound it may not heal properly or become infected. Brushing is never a bad idea, just be very careful if you do so!
This is very normal until the gums heal completely after the surgery. It will take them a little while to completely firm up.
if you are a healthy person otherwise, it will take a few months, however, at such an advanced age it may not heal properly at all.
it s gonna hurt like hell and take a whole lot longer to heal
Not necessarily. It depends on your health status and how complicated the extraction is (i.e. surgical extraction of a wisdom tooth). Usually your body is able to heal itself and if you keep your mouth clean and follow the dentists instructions you should not have any complications after an extraction. A. final year dental student
