Are air soft guns legal in Massachusetts?

Yes they are me and a friend were arrested a while ago and got charged with "Minor in possession of an air gun"

the judge ruled that air soft guns are not airguns or bb guns so there is nothing illegal about us having them or using them

this was in a suburb of Boston in Norfolk County at the dedham district court house

There are no official all airsoft stores I know about in MA but you can easily go to Sports Authority, Bass Pro Shops, Dicks Sporting Goods, and even Walmart to get an airsoft gun in stores but make sure you or the person buying the gun is at leat eighteen.

No I dont think so it depends on if Air soft is legal in mass. any way airsoft silencers really dont work well . airsoft guns are not that loud any way. I live in neworleans and at places like wall mart or academy some guns come with silncers and really and truley they dont make much diffrence. Me and my cousin use them on our air soft guns all the time.
