Bad resistor ? Bad switch?
3and a half
No, only length and time.
Could be a resistor problem.
It is an amazing fact that the speed of sound in air is a function of temperature only. Even very large pressure changes produce only very small changes in the speed of sound. The speed of sound in air is determined by the air itself. It is not dependent upon the sound amplitude, frequency or wavelength. Scroll down to related links and look at "Speed of sound - temperature matters, not air pressure".
my Chevy venture van's heater speed control stopped working so i don't get any air flow out of my front vents...how do i fix that.
Jet Streams, air pressure, oceanography, climatology, different factors working together
nope. the mass air measures the volume of air only
An air speed indicator gives an indication of the speed of the air going across the wing surface. It's not a reflection of equivalent ground speed, as one's airspeed is subject to headwinds and such. However, before LORAN-C and GPS, it was the only real method of measuring any sort of speed. One could make an estimation of their ground speed based on airspeed.
Yes, but it is only a slight difference.
Speed of light in air ~ speed of light in vavuum = 3,00 *10^8 m/s speed of sound in air ~ 330 m/s. Speed of light is faster than sound in air
Unless it is a high efficiency model 14 SEER or greater, it is only supposed to run on high speed in a/c mode and low speed in heat.
Quarters and feathers would only fall at the same speed in a vacuum. In air, the quarter would fall faster, as it has less air resistance.
