The Gold Ranger was later revealed to be Trey, the Lord of Triforia however he had lost his unify form due to a space chase with the Barox Bounty Hunters which had also rendered Pyramidas inoperable. Trey had to pass the powers on to another and he had passed the powers on to Jason, the former Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger.
