Red Dawn
it was actually a Steven Spielberg movie. Although three of Steven Spielberg's films added to the public outcry for a rating between PG and R ("Poltergeist", "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" and "Gremlins"), the first film to garner that rating was "The Flamingo Kid".
PG-13
Red Dawn (1984). The Flamingo Kid (1984) was the first movie to receive the PG-13 rating, but it was not released until after Red Dawn.
It was released with an R rating.
Yes it was released on February 16 2010 and is considered a mediocre game rated 5.5 although the user rating is 7.5
Although the rating is pending there is little doubt it will carry an M rating in the USA

1984. The first movie with a PG-13 rating was RED DAWN (with Patrick Swayze) released on 8/10/84. 5 days later DREAMSCAPE (with Dennis Quaid & Christopher Plummer) and WOMAN IN RED (with Gene Wilder and Kelly LeBrock) were also released with a PG-13 rating giving them a tie for 2nd place in the race to be the 1st PG-13 movies. The 2 movies most responsible for the PG-13 rating are GREMLINS and INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM. Parents complained that these movies were too violent for a PG rating (especially after taking their young children to a movie they thought was kid-friendly) and studios argued that they were not violent enuf to warrant an R rating. Thus the PG-13 compromise was born. PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN was the first movie released with the DISNEY name on it that had a PG-13 rating. It was felt that to sanitize it down to a PG rating would have detracted from the overall quality of the film.
actually, the highest rating was an earthquake in Chili, coming in on a 9.5
PG-13 for sexual content and some strong language.

The safety rating on a hardtop convertible is actually much better than that of the safety rating on a ragtop. The hardtop safety is comparable to that of the solid top standard vehicle.
