A vampire's thrall is a human who is ensnared or enchanted by a vampire, often becoming deeply loyal or submissive to them. This connection typically involves a psychological or emotional bond, sometimes enhanced by supernatural influence, making the thrall more vulnerable to the vampire's will. Thralls may assist the vampire in various tasks, from feeding to carrying out their commands, and they often experience a strong attraction or fascination with the vampire. In vampire lore, this relationship can highlight themes of manipulation, power, and dependency.
I don't get what this has to do with twilight. And please, learn to spell, it's author, not auther. But the AUTHOR of the Vampire Diaries is Lisa Jane Smith, or L.J Smith as it says on her books.
Ideally a vampire would not kill his food source but use it lightly for he/she would be assured of a continuing food source. If however a vampire wishes to create a new vampire then he would 'kill' his victim slowly assuring that the vampire contagin was in effect when the person died.
