I'm not sure what the exact question is here - APBT's, or pit bulls, eat the same types of food as other domestic dogs. They do not require a special breed-specific diet. There might be a misconception that they are bloodthirsty carnivores who eat only raw meat and whole animals, but that would be blatantly wrong and ignorant. Unless the dog's owner is well-educated in preparing and feeding a raw diet for dogs, pit bulls should be fed a high-quality food, preferably with a single protein source and with a carbohydrate source like potato or rice. Corn and wheat are not suitable primary carbohydrate sources for dogs. Brands such as Pinnacle, Natures Variety, Canidae, Avoderm, Innova, Primal, and other holistic dog foods are great for pit bulls!
