The Channel Islands were occupied by Germany during WW2.
No German invaders made onto U.S soil during World War 2. Many probably migrated here during the war but did so in peace and legal means.
I would expect that all of the Japanese Americans that died were buried on US soil, they were, after all, American citizens. There may not be records compiled to calculate an actual number.
Porosity
No. The only land that Japanese occupied in the North American continent was an island in the Aluettians, a part of Alaska.BTW, the US launched an invasion of this island that resulted in like 4 (?) casualties---but the Japanese had left.
japan
No, Spain never occupied the US soil other than Florida which was purchased from Spain. The Spanish American war was over tariffs by Spain in Cuba that effected US interests.
Because the war had not been fought on American soil.
during the civil war
It was the bloodiest war ever fought on American soil.
Yes, and that was Pearl Harbor and the Japanese made an air raid attack with 300 planes only 29 were shot down one of the first was planes shot down was bye Dorie Miller the man in the picture he was the first African-American. Pearl Harbor is how the US joined WW2 and other American Territories. --------------- WWII happened throughout Europe. Pearl Harbor was just the act by the Japanese DURING the war that caused the US to join the fight.
During World War II the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii which was an American territory at the time. The Japanese also occupied Attu Island and Kiska Island, the westernmost islands in the Aluetian chain in Alaska, which was also a United States territory. The Japanese also attacked Dutch Harbor, Alaska during the war. In addition to the American and Japanese troops, Canadian conscripts were also deployed for the fighting that occurred in Alaska.
