An isotope that's element is used in nuclear shields?
Depleted uranium, which is mostly Uranium-238 is used for shielding gamma radiation. Though it is radioactive, it has a very long half life, and is very effective against gamma radiation. The result is that it makes a pretty good shield.
Any element is neutral when the number of protons is equal to the number of electrons for the most common sodium isotope thats 11 of each
there more than 1000 isotopes...but all these are represented by single element in the periodic table so thats why it is called isotope because iso mean "same" tope means"place" e.g hydrogen have 3 isotope but in periodic table only protium represents the remaining s
it's a nuclear thats what it is its a nuclear
he is a dikhead !!thats why
he used horses, bows and arrows, swords, shields and thats all i can think of
Thats element and yes it is
i dont know thats why i ask
First: Atomic mass if the weighted average of the naturally occuring isotopes of an element. So the averge is un likely to be a whole number. Second: Atomic mass of an isotope is NOT the sum of the protons and neutrons, thats the mass number. A proton's or a neutron's mass is not exactly 1. Electrons do have mass. So even though one isotope of oxygen has 8 protons and 8 neutrons, the atomic mass… Read More
ir raids during the war were commonplace in South Shields as it sits on the mouth of the River Tyne, where shipbuilders and ship repairers were working flat out for the war effort thats all i can find realy
dont kno thats y i asked
go to the unknown zone there is a strange looking frog thats the nuclear battery
radioisotopes. yep, thats it.
Because thats the part of its life cycle it is now in.
check it out in the dictionary or internet...........THATS IT...........:) and :p
because thats all thank you
becuz its an element and thats what the tables made for
man vs. man thats the literary element(:

1. Length 2. Girth (Thickness) 3. Type (Element) Thats all I know but i !
It is actually the human body, thats how we can be electricuted. Hope this helps and not too late .
Yes, atomic number is the number of protons and thats how an element is defined. If you change the amount of protons thus changing the atomic number, it becomes an entirely different element.
Was there any people exposed to radiation material in the last thirty years in any of the Ontario nuclear power plants?
yes thats how bigfoot was created
no where thats why so shut up and dont ask another question ever again
How many houses can be supplied with electricity for a year with the nuclear energy from one peanut?
the answer is 2191 and thats the truth 25 million divied a bye 2191 =99885556
The number of electrons is the same as the atomic number (and protons). So, if you look at an element on the periodic table, lets say Hydrogen. The atomic number above the element is one, so thats how many electrons there are. Based on their atomic number in the periodic table.
im not sure but i think thats because its only made up of one thing. its in the periodic table
1)create lots of energy and have almost no pollution 2) Cheap reliable safe thats all i have soz
Yes. They built Nuclear Weapons and showed the full effect. Surprisingly the Soviet Union won building the "Ivan" in the Arctic circle. But there was a little fighting and an attempt to actually launch nuclear missiles! This was in Cuba. Thats where the 'Cuban Missible Crisis' came from.
Answer -Each symbol represents a element of the periodic table. For example, H is the symbol of Hydrogen. WOW THATS HELPFUL--NOT!
paper is wood which turns to carbon when burnt.the by products is carbon dioxide.the final product is only black spacks of carbon which is an element but not a mixture.if your final product contains impurities such as dust than thats a compound
Biofuels and alot of hydroelectricity. Slowly we are backing off oils and coal thats imported to us and although we still use nuclear power, we are stopping it soon.

nuclear fission. thats the source that makes it burn for all its life apart from the end of it but its the best answer your gonna get. science made English! p.s..... lol.
just a guess here........because thats how many individual elements there are in a chemical equation you cant change any Element in the equation you only change the cofficent.
sodium is used in street lights, thats why they have a yellowish/orange colour Answer: Neon & Argon are used in light bulbs.
some suppernatural objects would be, nuclear gas, your mom, vaseline, rope so your mom can tie you up, and protroleum jelllyy. jaykay thats the same thing as vaseline
the second letter of there element symbol is lower case 'r' and they end with the --ton I don't know if that helps but looking at the periodic table thats all I can see
Suppose you were given an unknown liquid and asked to determine if it was an element a compound or a mixture What would you do How would this help you find out what it was?
If I was given an unknown liquid and asked to determine if it was an element, a compound, or a mixture I would heat the unknown liquid up to see if any compounds separated from the unknown liquid. After that I would get a microscope and look to see if it is a pure element. Then I would get a Platelet separation machine and put the liquid in the machine to see if the liquid… Read More
