yeah. try to just say hi to her then walk past while you are saying it to her so you don't look like a fool when you say to her when you stop and talk so just continue to walk by and go on with your day and the n evetually go into conversation with her. if she ever break up with her boyfriend then you will already have a head straghit then most of the guys she may look at so stay with it and tyr not to get stuck in the friend position.
