I really don't understand why anyone would consider it being a good thing. For real, "hype beast" is just a fancy way of saying follower or fashion slave. All a hype beast does is go along with all the fads and trends that come and go like a sheep. They never bother to assert their own style and just blend in with everyone else. Most hype beasts usually claim to be "unique" and "original" too. Basically, a hype beast is lame.
