Eh, not really, but it helps. If not guitar, you should learn piano.I know both, so I'm good ;)Piano is a better help to a singer though,its also easier to write songs off of.

it depends i know that guitar hero 2 and 3 are, and rock band 1 and 2 has some older songs. and I'm pretty sure guitar hero 1 does, but if you want classic rock songs don't get guitar hero 4

I am not sure but I know you can create songs on guitar hero world tour. I was searching for the same question. I also know that you can download songs already made at the playstation store. (playstation store/addons/disc based games/guitar hero 3)

You can learn any songs opn any guitars. PS. Stagg guitars are bad quality. Go for something slighty more expensive. Epiphone will give you a similar sound.
