-You can get a Chicken Fence in Another Wonderful life.
-You can buy new outfits in Another Wonderful Life.
-There is an Asset Menu that shows how much your pets like your character in Another Wonderful Life.

In Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility, and Harvest Moon: Animal Parade (Not yet released), you have the option of being either gender. :)
