Eukaryotes are larger and usually more complex than prokaryotes. Eukaryotes have many membrane-bound organelles but prokaryotes do not tend to have many organelles (and they are rarely surrounded by a membrane).
Eukaryotes are usually much larger than prokaryotes
Billions of years - perhaps as much as 3.5 billion. (but at least 2).
Prokaryotic cells are much simpler than eukaryote because they are one cell organisms. They probably were here first because they didn't need as much to survive.
Prokaryotes have been around for 2 billion more years than eukaryotes so have a much wider diversity. Some prokaryotes can live in extreme environments, so there is a lot to learn from them. Plus the wide range of prokaryotes have not been cataloged while the majority of eukaryotic species have likely been discovered.
Prokaryotes are more than 2 billion years older than eukaryotes.

Prokaryotes are much simpler organisms than eukaryotes. It is thought that eukaryotes evolved from prokaryotes. In both cases the evolution process was lengthy and similar to the evolution of other organisms.

Prokaryotes doesnt have a membrane its organelles pretty much just float around unlike eukaryotes it contains a membrane where the organelles are kept proteinsynthesis in prokaryotes- it doesnt not contain "noncoding" meaning it doesnt have introns
The animal kingdom is divided into Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes. Prokaryotes lack a cell nucleus or other membrane-bound organelles. In general, they seem to be much simpler than Eukaryotes. Prokaryotes are divided into Archaea and Bacteria. Eukaryotes, however, are much more complicated, containing a nucleus. Humans, mammals, insects, fishes and birds are all examples of eukaryotes. Prokaryotes are much simpler than eukaryotes. They don't have a nucleus or membrane-bound organelles. Both have DNA, but prokaryotic DNA sort of floats around in strips whereas eukaryotic DNA is contained in the nucleus.

Prokaryotic cells do not have a nucleus and eukaryotic cells do. The main difference to remember is that everything in a eukaryotic cell is much larger and more complex than what would be fouind in a prokaryotic cell. Bacteria is made of prokaryotic cells. Plants and animals are made of eukaryotic cells. In addition to not having a nucleus (the main difference), prokaryotes also have circular DNA while eukaryotes have linear DNA. As such, prokaryotes do not have okazaki fragments formed during DNA replication. Eukaryote genes have introns and exons while prokaryotes do not, and eukaryotes have more "junk" DNA in general.
Prokarotes are single-celledbacterium and eukaryotes are plants, animals, and fungi. So eukaryotes are a whole lot larger than prokaryotes.
