No. Only 18 inch tires fit an 18 inch rim.
Yes there was a factory option for 17 inch wheels
The 1995 Pontiac Firebird can be fitted with 18x8-inch wheels granted they are designed for this application. A tire size that will work on these wheels are 275/40/18.
Stock it comes with 18 inch on the GT
18 inch back not sure on front
Depends on what size wheels the frame is made for. You could have an 18" that is meant for 20" BMX wheels, or 26" MTB wheels or 29er MTB wheels. Getting the wheel size wrong is unlikely to result in a nicely rideable bike.
The 18 inch wheels have very large surface area which reduces the pressure that the car exerts on the road.
No, 17 inch rims can not fit on 16 inch wheels.
I have seen a few on the net with CLK 18" alloys on, so my guess is quite possibly
Keep the diameter of the wheel/tire the same with the 17" wheels as you were running with the 18" setup. That will require that you install a set of tires on the 17" wheels that have a larger diameter than the tires now currently on the vehicle. w www.tirerack.com is a good place to find out exactly what size tire to buy.
No they can't. The best you can do is 18"
45 mph is the same as 45 mph. How can one of the two be faster?
Of course not you cannot install 15 inch tires on 14 inch wheels or vice versa. 14 inch wheels require 14 inch tires, and 15 inch wheels require 15 inch tires.
The standard wheel size is a 16 inch wheels. There are options available for larger wheels, such as a 17 inch, 20 inch, and 22 inch wheels.
The only real reason I can think of is that they cost less. In theory the 17 ones have a smaller part of the surface to hit ground. This could mean that they throttle water a little bit better than 18 inch ones. 17 inch also mean that you use slightly more fuel per mile, but you have more torque/power transferred to the wheels from the engine. 18 inch makes you able to drive slightly faster and you spend less fuel per mile, although less torque. I also think that larger wheels are better against noise. Regards.
keep the tire ride height the same.
Www.discountwheelwarehouse.com has good deals on large tires. Also, locally you can look for tires at www.bigbrandwheels.com which has brand name tires for low prices.
sure! i have 19" alloy wheels on my 2000 cougar
Yes, they can be used? To keep it simple, have the people who install your tires match the height of your existing 18 in tires with the new 20" tires. Doing that keeps you from reprogramming the computer to match the new combo and your speedometer will be correct.
Will a Ford Taurus 2006 wheels fit a Kia Soul 2012
