I have a 2002 Stratus Sedan, and mine are discs.
They are drum on a 2006 Stratus SXT.
Does the truck have stock discs? Why would you want to switch the discs back to drums? Does the truck have stock discs? Why would you want to switch the discs back to drums?
It should be 4-wheel disc brakes all the way around.
Discs in the front and drums in the back.
Toyota hiace 19883/83 model had drums at the rear and discs on the front. courtesy of Dranoweb.com
The brake discs or drums get hot when you apply the brakes and then the heat transfers out to the rims
Instead of using hydraulic brake fluid to apply the pads to the brake drums or discs, air pressure is used.
Would have been built with rear disc brakes.
The sensors are on the inside of each hub (with a cable attached) and so the discs and drums can be removed without disturbing the sensors.
Most had discs on the steers and drums on the rears for that model year (any semblance of rhyming with that statement was purely unintentional).
Answerif discs/rotors, over compensating on rear brakes ( basically means too much braking power is going to the back ) Baised too much to the rear.if drums, warped drums, sticking shoes.oil on brakes would do that
If the brake drums are 9 inches wide on the inside, they are 9 inch brakes; 10 inches wide, 10 inch brakes.
