According to www.crutchfield.com the factory speakers are 6 x 8
I havent seen anything bigger than 6x9 unless you want to order from china. I'm probably wrong though.
Front doors: 6x8 Rear deck: 6x9 The 6x8s are usually replaced with 5x7s and an adapter kit (sometimes comes with the speakers). JVC makes 6x8s specifically for Ford and Mazda, though.
well if your going to put them in the trunk any it just depends on how big the enclosure is measure your trunk find a enclosure you like and measure it but with a cavalier id say drop 10s or 12s in thats all you really need as for door speakers or rear speakers the fronts are 4x6 and the rear are 6x9
http://www.mjmautoinnovations.com/Nissan that link could be helpful, will try to update how accurate it is in the next month when i replace my speakers.Answerrear speakers are 6x9 door speakers are 5x7 the rear dash must be removed to access rear speakers also make sure the magnet of the new 6x9s isn't to big or it will get caught on your trunk spring Try to use the Nissan speaker adapters plugs so you don't need to cut wires and mess up the electric system, you can get those from eBay or amazon.
the same way big speakers work

4x6
Size is not a big issue other than for base reasons. When you have smaller speakers they look more attractive its easier to find a place to put them and they sound just as good as big speakers.

The original speakers suck. I replaced them with some 6 x 8 Alpine 2-way speakers. Big difference even with stock stereo.
No, they're average and not too big. They're about 3'5" and weigh 94 pounds a piece.
