Similarities between Heroes of ancient mythology can be found between nearly any two fabled characters. However, your asking for a comparison between a god and a man. Apollo was the god of the sun, music, healing, and more. He was the defender of those weaker then himself, and could be seen as just and honorable. He could bring ill-fate upon those he wishes, along with things such as the plague. Of course, he was also the god of healing and light, and therefore was most associated with good things.
Achilles, however, was depicted in Homers Iliad as the hero of the Trojan war. He was the most handsome man in the battle, as well as the greatest of warriors.
These two beings are not one in the same, if that is what your asking. They were both defenders, they were both seen as honorable. There were more similarities, im sure, but as far as being the same person, No.
