Bengal tiges, like other members of the cat family, tend to do what they feel they need to do, and when they do not see any immediate need for action, they rest. Cats can spend a lot of time resting which to humans makes them appear to be lazy. But the concept does not really apply. Cats have a limited range of responsibilities or needs. When you see cats lying around, they are not trying to get out of doing work, they just do not have any work that they need to do. Human beings are much busier than cats.
